Three Canvases, One Afternoon

February 26 turned into one of those days where I just kept going. Three canvases, start to finish, and I photographed every step along the way.

First up was a Saiyan going full power. I started with a calm blue sky, pulled the aura up from the ground in streaks of every color I had, then built him inside that energy. After that came a dragon that grew straight out of an abstract color storm, and to close the day I painted my own take on a classic Mario box cover.

Three pieces in one sitting. Days like this remind me why I picked up a brush in the first place.
