Art Styles
Nine ways of seeing — from neon dreams to the darkest arts.
Reve Rainbow
Ramon's uniquely developed style is a fusion of Surrealism, Abstract, Expressionism, Impressionism and Realism. Not to mention the bright, saturated neon, pastel and iridescent combinations all sewn into one grand merger. Often these pieces are sentimental, there is a story, concept or lesson to be extracted from them. Ambitious enough for ya?

Seriously Surreal
Dont' mind these.. or rather, do! That's what Surrealism is all about- invoking the subconscious by letting it loose and shattering all the rules in which our waking and mechanical mind habitually resists. Let it loose every now and again. It is in freedom and imagination that true liberation lies. Don't push it, of course. But, nevertheless you must enjoy what you cultivate. What's in the bottom of your proverbial basement? Next time you have an episode, take it to the canvas or to a journal, something. Anything! Give it life and see what you are deep, deep down. When I choose to paint in this style, it's the funniest thing- more styles emerge within the whirlpool of predisposed concepts! I've learned to accept and enjoy the madness, for it brings vastness, diversity and downright infinite fun! I mean, just look at this first guy..

Dreamscapes
Welcome to my world of colour, splendor and the ultimate escape to the realms within my mind. I have loved Landscape Art since I was a young child, it simply amazed me to see scenes of nature and of the world being painted in front of my eyes. I wanted to feel that. So, I did. The first one really leaked because I had used too much oil solution (ha). It was a leaky mountain. But now, there are no more leaks. I have also switched to acrylics primarily as I simply cannot breathe in oil paint anymore. Though here and there or upon special request, I'll go to specific lengths to get one done. Oils are indeed stunning, but I can wield much more with acrylics and mine are rich in pigment and long lasting. I also paint the sides of the canvas like a three dimensional completion of it, so it's not just blank and unfinished looking on the sides. In any case, I hope you enjoy my many dimensions, realms, worlds and scenes of rainbow and glory in my signature Dreamscapes Gallery Series.

Outrageously Abstract
The deepest level in which I sort of 'release' myself is in the style of Pure Abstract. Just strokes, dabs, clumps, knife scrapings, mixing, meshing and anything you feel. It all goes, it all works. A true Abstract Artist makes harmony or 'something' out of the whole mess. It makes you feel multiple ways, it may even change the way it appears the longer you peer at it. It's certainly a trip to paint and then look at your own Abstract work for hours on end. The sheer liberation and excitement is unparalleled. It fills my soul in a way nothing else can. I don't write descriptions for my Abstract paintings as I feel that would give it a definitive quality. It would end the mystery, so to speak. Let's not do that. Make what you will of them.
Beauty Embodied
Ramon Trif has a Lust for Art that is insatiable.
"Body Painting has been an extraordinarily one-of-a-kind experience that launched me deep dive into a new world I fell in love with its depth and multitude. To paint upon the finesse of a phenomenal muse, or 'Femme Fatale' as I coin these beauts, is an indescribable feat for me to know. I am vastly honored. The results are always amazing and there's this magic that takes place where a metamorphosis is evident.
We Pop!
So, technically this is my very first Art Style that I chose when I first put pencil to paper as a young lad. I remember drawing the Red Power Ranger thinking to myself, "I want to be the leader one day, he gets to wear red". (haha!) I'll wear red now that I've grown up and can be a Power Ranger myself. Maybe that was my true dream, to be a super hero. Any ways, I surely take delight in making these. They are our favorite characters and childhood friends, and they were there for us all throughout. Still are.

Prolific Portraits
Believe it or not, Portraits are my least favorite topic to paint. Why, you may ask? They're extremely challenging on an academic level in a way which constrains my fun in creating them. In other words, for me they're not that fun to paint. Though I love the outcome and I adore everyone's reaction in seeing themselves on canvas. I'll do Portrait Requests, but it will be extra.
Rated-R
Ramon Trif is certainly a man of many shades. One of his most indulgent hues are that of the erotic Art world. His philosophy is that everyone enjoys sex and fantasizes secretly about many forbidden pleasures. Ramon is here to excite you and place your hot scenarios on canvas. His approach is raw, gritty and downright dirty. Just like sex can be. Enjoy the ride.
